British Land, one of the UK’s leading commercial property developers, asked Gensler to create an event to promote a new flexible workspace product aimed at SME’s (small to medium enterprises). The product was designed to meet the space and service needs of innovative businesses that have outgrown coworking spaces, as well as larger organisations seeking additional space on flexible terms. Using a stripped out office floor, Gensler developed a pop-up environment using a series of rooms to communicate various real estate services. A super graphic of a floorplate demonstrates space sizes and flexibility, depending on individual business requirements. Guests could walk a journey through each space type and play with interactive pieces, such as a tangram table, to configure the type of space that would suit their needs.
